Dead Cats slammed on Table

Christopher Luxon is clearly slamming dead cats down on the table this week after a shocking week last week where even Mike Hosking lashed out at his incompetence.
First the "pour some sugar on me" ECE shocker which showed Luxon and Willis getting numbers wrong again and this - went down very badly - everywhere - but on The Platform - where Oliver Sean Plunket got the facts all mixed up this morning - as he lashed out at "Agenda Lynch".
Mr Plunket was upset that NewsHub pointed out Luxon's numbers were wrong and argued that it was not a real story and National could mess up everything it wanted to.
At the same time - Plunket wrongly told his audience that only 21,000 families were eligible for up to $75 per week when that number was 100,000 - and the 21,000 was the number eligible for the maximum of $75 per week
Clearly about 79,000 were eligible for something less but Plunket was not a journalist's backside - despite some saying he looks like one.
Plunket tried to make out that the media were defeated by Luxon who was in complete control and Willis was across her numbers - which is one more reason why we have so many morons in society - spoonfed ones.
The other dead cat slammed down on the table today is about an incident that happened in August 2021 and - Luxon just happened to choose today to slam that dead cat down.
Boasting that he was going public and using the word "attribution" like it was a bag of coke - Luxon tried to look like one of the big boys directing the show...while over in the UK sanctions were applied to Chinese Hackers.
That was real news and recent, but Luxon was more like "me too" and "I want to be important" and his was very old news.
Apparently it took over two years to attribute to China if you believe Luxon's spin about this matter - but that was just cover for the need to create new headlines this week - right now in particular to break the public focus on things like tax cuts and dolphins.
The GCSB reckoned the issue was scoped out pretty fast, not much data was taken but it was of the nature that may have led to further data being taken - in other words - they knew what they were looking for.
The UK are proceeding with sanctions against China but the NZ version of this dead cat was nope we are not doing sanctions cos we are too lazy to develop laws like that - but it makes Luxon and Jude the Ripper and Winston feel like they are important and it stops the talk about the wheelchairs, tax cuts, shortfalls and inflation - at the same time.
There's loads of show pony talk coming from drama queens as they stand over the dead cats - but yeah - it's what we all expect now from these dodgy buggers.
