G News - the good news

In stunning news - the Nat-Act-NZ First coalition crumbled and fell to the ground dissolving into dust according to the latest leaked corporate Talbot Poll as published by the Post.

Yes it was a close thing but this is now the third of the most recent four polls that show Luxon's Beagle Boys are out in the cold and the left bloc are back.

Normally Thomas the Turd Polisher is first to publish the Talbot poll which always comes out about a week after the Atlas Network TPU Curia Poll which is published around the 10th of the month - but the cat has got Thomas' tongue or his fingers cos there is nothing but tumbleweeds blowing at the NZ Herald.

"That's the second month Thomas has dodged reporting the facts about the Talbot poll?", exclaimed an organic punga in alarm.

"No fear or favour", laughed a flax bush, mocking the obvious partisan omissions at the Herald.

"Heading in the right direction" warbled a majestical Tui before yelling "Yeah Right" and flying off top peck at David Farrar.

"The Post say the Talbot poll reckons 52% of us think we are heading in the wrong direction and that the left bloc are 1% in the lead, with Chippy and Luxon tied at 25% Preferred PM", said G from G News.

"Dictatorships are one way streets", smirked Monty.

Yes it is strange that the NZ Herald have gone silent for the second month now - after faithfully gloating over Talbot polls when National were in the lead. Whatever can have happened?

There are no further details about what Labour or National are on - nor the other parties...so hopefully media will get around to publishing this soon.

The Talbot poll may contradict the TPU poll taken at the same time - because both were taken in the early days of May and both say opposing things about who would win an election.

The main thing is Luxon's net favourability is way down at 42% compared to Chippy on 52% and things are going badly for the Beagle Boys.

In other news 1283 housing builds have been put on hold while we all sit around waiting for Sir Bill English and Chris Bishop to produce their review report into Kainga Ora. So many houses that would have been built by now if it was not for these bureaucrats getting in the way and slowing down delivery.

The NZ Herald and RNZ have both been parading JAG's comments around - trying to shame her or something - while she says she can do better and takes full responsibility and should have walked away.

Audrey is relieved that things have calmed down this week compared to last week but still refuses to give a brick bat to any right wing MP.

The Auditor General is concerned that there is less scrutiny over Multi Year spending ( up to five years ) rather than annual spending...and wrote a report about how for the past eight years there has been an increase in multi year spending to give some projects more certainty.

Nobody Reading this is Gerry Brownlee.

Hooray!!!

Christopher Luxon is not aware !!! Again !!!

Yes the NZ Prime Minister was unaware about how people's needs are not being met by the Health system - and keeps flicking off media by saying - wait till the Budget cos we will spend a bit more on Health.

Luxon has bad form here - and frequently is "unaware" or "has not seen those comments" or "has not been briefed" and some say he's just stepping around issues and deflecting them. Remember Casey Costello? Yes ...and comments made by Seymour or Jones etc.

Charter schools might increase government costs while delivering marginal benefits - Cabinet papers have revealed. Yes so much wasteful government spending under National and Act on their vanity projects. Will it ever end?

Foreign affairs teams are watching the unrest in New Caledonia by “the hour” and keeping in touch with Kiwis stuck in the country’s capital, Winston Peters says. Four people have died and hundreds have been injured during rioting by pro-independence supporters over electoral changes.

Luxon's prescription fees make no sense and cost us all more in the long run...

"Researchers say fees-free prescriptions would save millions of dollars in hospital costs and are calling on the Government to retain the zero fees policy. The research, conducted by Victoria University of Wellington and released by the New Zealand Medical Journal, found people who don't collect prescriptions due to cost are 34 percent more likely to go to hospital within the year than those who were able to afford their medication. They found costs estimated to be a whopping $32.4 million per year." - Newshub.

Things are going okay - especially after that poll.

Have a smashing Friday.
