Opinion - Open microphone.

One of the reasons that Chris Bishop and the Free Speech Union manufactured a dead cat during the week, and slammed it down on the table was to attempt to distract from the horror going down all around Christopher Luxon.

As you know "urgency" was the command - laid down by Lord Hannan at Gibbs farm - to Jordan Williams head Atlas Network Honcho for Taxpayers Alliance think tanks world wide ( TPU and FSU ) when he said to Jordan and the assembled neoliberals - if you want to get it done - do it now - before the public service wakes up and makes life difficult.

Take it as a given that Chris Bishop and Jordan Williams and the associated neoliberal company were all in on the need for speed in the first 100 days and if they did the damage fast enough perhaps National would still be on 38% in the latest Talbot Poll ( due out around now ).

So the "urgency thing" was a ruse, like waving a flag, look at me, look at me.

Fortunately for Bishop the Golriz case, combined with allegations made against Darleen Tana combined in the same week - meant he need not have bothered and Audrey may as well have taken back her bouquet.

The fact a couple of Greenies were standing in the dock of public hatred and judgement enabled Thomas Coughlan to establish a pattern of scandal over a 12 month period - by reaching back to the near forgotten drama over a "cry baby" text by Elizabeth KereKere.

Shock horror, as racist Nat voters and disciples of Hosking and Plunket clutched their pearls and old gold Remuera housewives spilt the morning gin on their $6,000 Italian shoes.

There's no better distraction than a wahine or refugee being singled out and put on trial before a mob of hostile neoliberal racists, so Bishop's theatrics were quickly forgotten in the mists of blanket lead news - which will likely stay on full repeat for the coming days in order to allow Luxon and Willis off the hook.

Who can forget Sir Bob Jones attacking wahine for wearing what he called "scribble on their chins" and how Sean Plunket lapped it up on the The Platform - well boy oh boy he'd be loving this like the klan boys love a burning cross.

Luxon had a very bad week this week ( to hell with the surplus ) after another very bad week ( I am entitled ) and National's leadership problems were in free fall as he messed almost everything he touched up so badly it needed some kind of distraction.

Slipping Luxon down the news priority at TVNZ meant nobody really paid too much attention to the way Luxon "would not be drawn" ( lol ) about how Act will liberalise access to centre fire semiautomatics while simultaneously telling the families of the victims of the Christchurch massacre that he cared deeply.

Five years after the massacre Luxon agreed with Jude the Ripper that - now was still not the time - to talk about compensation ( not a cold day in hell ) and in any case - look - a Green party wahine is facing allegations - talk about that why won't you? Talk about it endlessly in circles for days in lead news. That is who you are.

Media need the racist clicks, kind of like attention whores.

It's all about remembering who is the greatest enemy of the Atlas Network - it's the brown women who have a voice and represent the fierce feminine and the oppressed and the earth.

Luxon was sure messing things up for a guy who talked about outcomes - the outcome is say goodbye to a surplus in 2027 because Nicola and Christopher are terrible at numbers and not even a dogs breakfast describes their economic management.

The notion that these people are somehow automatically superior economic managers is an Atlas Network myth - and Thomas had to scramble like a dutiful boot licker this week to polish the bucket of turds presenting itself in OIA requests about Treasury advice.

Some settler state farmers also thought all their dreams had come true when Andrew Hoggard suggested they could poison the Tuatara, chop the head of the Kiwi, shoot the last white herons and burn the skinks while frying the last eggs of endangered birdlife in a big greedy agricultural profit driven fry up over SNAs on their farms.

But Hoggard was a portrait of incompetence and looked like a first class moron who had no idea he was suggesting something unlawful. Somebody give the soggy burned marshmallow man a tutorial before he opens his extinction mouth again.

Somewhere on G News a cowardly Nat troll lashed out at all of you reading this suggesting you are mentally unwell to care about the environment or Te Tiriti or even just fair media coverage and he hid behind a fake name laughing in a small dick way.

In a way that's the sum of these people - they are greed slaves and cowards, hiding and attacking the things needed to benefit all of society, attacking the fight against climate change, attacking those who protect biodiversity and attacking those they see as dogs beneath their prejudiced feet.

None of us will ever be one of them, and I for one am grateful to stand for what I value which is what the left voting block collectively stand for.

As Crowded House once said - there's a battle ahead - but six months into the election cycle becoming a critic of Labour or the Greens or TPM when you are on the left is like coffee dregs down a drain...it's far too early to mean anything yet.

Human goldfish do not recall what happened six months ago in fine detail apart from a few "political tragics" like myself - and I have faith that things will be ironed out and a spectrum of options offered from the centre to the far left - but that these will dovetail together.

So things like a capital gains tax to combat the greed and the rise of National's biggest donors the property speculators or a wealth tax to make things a bit more egalitarian and solve poverty ( like else where in the developed world ) will be figured out on the blank slate.

The war against neoliberalism needs a strong left connected to the ground roots and inspiring leaders who can fire up - like we saw from both Chippy and Chloe and - I might add Debs - in the last parliamentary sitting block.

I am growing sick of Pakeha telling kids or women sports teams doing haka to apologise, sit down or that they are unacceptable and your mum is on the phone.

No your mum is on the phone - springs to mind - so watch out Neoliberals - your Atlas Network is exposed now and the lines and links are there ...all the way into the NZ Herald ....

That's all I had to say, I only came to read the metre.
