So many chickens are coming home to roost now after Christopher Luxon told us he and Nicola were by far the superior economic managers, that he knew how to do numbers and that his numbers were ROCK SOLID - especially around taxing online gambling and he would not be lectured about those interest deductibility numbers.

Luxon strongly disagreed with almost everyone but he was still wrong - very very wrong about nearly all of it.

It was not just Luxon and Willis' numbers that were so badly wrong but also the entire notion that voting for this change would solve anything for New Zealanders.

Luxon was strenuous and absolute that there would be absolutely no rate increases as a result of his "do nothing about water infrastructure" plans - but look what happened as a result of having no real solution to repealing Three Waters.

The coming whopper rate increases and water charges will eclipse the $2.15 per week tax cuts by some considerable margin and the outcome is nearly everyone is far worse off.

This was Luxon's handiwork - after he was backed by the Atlas Network to convince Mayors to reject three waters and to shrink the size of government in Wellington and open up a devolved set of opportunities for privatisation.

"We believe in localism and devolution" repeated Luxon as he had been taught, "Not centralised control in Wellington".

The Atlas Network Taxpayers' Union told everyone that Maori were taking over the government and democracy was dead and gullible racist bigots and idiots swallowed that line like Trump farmers wear red MAGA caps - believing in FreeDumb.

The Maori takeover had to be stopped and the economy had been destroyed - that was what they told us.

Yes Atlas Network operatives were campaigning hard on every street corner, in every pub, and out in the fields, hoardings about Council ownership and stopping Three Waters were everywhere dotted up and down the country.

Tens of thousands of templated Atlas Network submissions were made by angry know it all white men ( fragile pakeha ) with cars and motorbikes on their social media profiles - to stop Three Waters - even when Kieran got it right and convinced the "vote for me" mayors that - the rebranded Three Waters was the best way to go.

Jessica glowed with admiration when there was a swing to the right in local body elections - and Luxon reassured one and all to trust him there would not be any rate increases - not a cent.

It was purely ridiculous to suggest there would be any rate increase as a result of not proceeding with Three Waters in its revised form claimed Luxon - and on 20 October 2022 Dame Jacinda Ardern said she did not want a situation where we stand by and watch New Zealanders rates bills go up - and she said that is what will happen if nothing is done about New Zealand water infrastructure.

Haters trusted Luxon. They trusted there would be no rate increase like he said. They trusted his numbers were rock solid like he promised. Only Luxon would get us back on track. They voted for change - believing what they were told so strongly.

By December 23 Newsroom reported that Luxon's repeal of Three Waters was forcing councils to hike rates by a third. Up in the far North - the district council talked about a 33% rate increase this coming year.

A few weeks ago Standard & Poor's revised the credit outlook for 15 Councils because Luxon's lack of a real solution added so much uncertainty and Simeon Brown scurried like a bipedal lizard to hide behind how he was working incredibly hard on this.

Watercare in Auckland was set to increase fees by 25.8% to go with the rates increase.

National insisted that any Crown Controlled Organisations (CCO) set up voluntarily would not have a Crown guarantee but Standard made it plain that it would not accept the Government’s view that new voluntary water CCOs could be formed without either council or Government guarantees.

A few days ago you heard the average rates increase across New Zealand is 15% and in many places way higher ( covered in detail by NewsHub ) and how road and sewerage costs were up 27% and water by 30%.

Luxon's schemes inevitably have made things worse - as he frees up property speculation to drive up house prices - which in turn makes homes out of reach for first home buyers.

The Reserve Bank has stated that the rising rates and rents ( fuelled by Atlas Network Luxon policies ) along with population growth - is one of the main causes of inflation remaining sticky and mortgage rates remaining higher for longer.

Ah Three Waters if only the voting public had not been so captured by the campaigning of the Atlas Network in New Zealand but now - we all have to pay - and pay and pay as Luxon refused to apologise.

He refuses to admit everything and anything - until he is slapped across the face by his handlers and told to get out there and admit it.

In summary Luxon gives $2.15 a week with one hand and clobbers you with local government rate increases in the thousands with the other - while the bigots and loud mouthed know it alls claim - this is good, they are pleased, cos at least Maori are not taking over the gummint.

The huge rates bills are coming soon as Thomas and Claire and Audrey make excuses for Luxon and stick the boot into Labour and the Greens because National must remain on top in the polls and the overlords ( Board members ) from the NZ initiative need a return for the shareholders.

When seen in the broader context the swing voters who were convinced to "give someone else a go" are really to blame for not having the wisdom to see this error - but in their defence Jessica was pumped about Luxon's energy levels - the polls were screaming that Labour had to go - and it was time to trust and believe that Luxon - would not lie, and rates would remain about where they were.

It's hard to be an adult and admit you made a very big mistake when you voted for a person whose numbers were not rock solid - but utterly wrong and who had no idea what he was doing and now you and everyone else is going to pay dearly.

At least the mayors who opposed water infrastructure reform and keeping our rates down are still in office as they lick their lips about charging you like a wounded bull...

Right wing brown shirts stalk the streets infuriated by free speech on the left - they want to break your face - if you ask Willis any questions - and spitting on concrete might be the "wrong way to express your freedom of expression".

There's the smell of oil and gas as record hot temperatures grip planet earth and the Atlas Network urges Shane Jones to get drilling cos those endangered species are gonna die.

Yet somehow - the polls will likely remain about the same - because two thirds of us do not care.

The machine rages on - as Luxon could not be anymore of a failure - a promise breaker - an absolute Trumper.

Rock solid and no apologies - here's your rates bill and your rent increase - vote Atlas...this is what you get.
