Three Headed Taniwha Nightmare

When Professor Joanna Kidman asked a question whether this was a Government or a death cult - she was responding to a couple of shocking issues imposed on children and teens by this three headed taniwha.

Firstly the horrible abuses suffered by teens who are forced against their will to attend a hierarchical military style boot camp - are well documented over decades since the 1970s. The older and stronger kids become enforcers and in the end more damage is done - resulting in stronger, fitter criminals on a trajectory for prison. One only needs to look at that evidence.

All of this further abuse is only to satisfy an Atlas Network desire for a strong state that cracks down hard and punishes kids with brain damage or who have suffered family abuse.

Secondly, Joanna Kidman also added that the Government “wants to snatch children’s lunches” in response to Atlas Network Alumni David Seymour describing free school lunches as “wasteful” public spending and arguing that the Government should cut them.

The Atlas Network are over inflating the waste which is only 6% according to the Ministry of Education - and we've had five studies already - which do not support Seymour's claims.

This when coupled with the smoke free repeal that will kill 8,000 New Zealanders and how this Government is happily shifting 7,000 more children into poverty by 2028 by slashing benefits ( changing indexation back to wages ) - means Professor Kidman is right to question whether this is a death cult.

As you know - yesterday I wrote about Victoria University having been a member of the Atlas Network think tank, the NZ Initiative in 2018 and how a former chancellor has been a director for ages - well Professor Kidman was in discussion with the University about whether her comments were reasonable, because Victoria University hosts the anti-extremism centre - where Joanna Kidman works.

"Some of the language used in Professor Kidman’s social media post does not support an inclusive conversation.” - said Deputy Vice-Chancellor research professor Margaret Hyland bending over backwards here - as you do when you try to settle things down.

As you and I both know the Royal Society of New Zealand awarded the Pickering Medal to Professor Margaret Hyland, for her basic and applied research to reduce fluoride emissions from the aluminium industry back in 2015 - and she's no mug.

Margaret said she supports the right of academics to have an independent voice and to speak out on issues related to their area of expertise.

Understandably Joanne Kidman has made her X account private to ward off the sea of angry Nat and Act trolls outraged that she stood up to Atlas alumni Seymour.

It should be pointed out that Joanne also said most of the kids impacted will be brown and this underscores another issue - in this settler state where Te Tiriti guaranteed tino Rangatiratanga to Hapu - but look what happened?

Dispossession, intergenerational poverty, family abuse...lawlessness, gangs...so much harm that the Atlas Network just sweep away with BS about equality, masking the damage done.

Don't forget the Atlas Network Treaty principles Bill - is all behind these reactions as well when being "reasonable" about reactions and free speech.

It should be noted that Joanne's comments came after the Hurricanes Haka issue - where a Haka mentioned the puppets of this red necked Government and now - the Hurricanes are forcing the ladies to apologise to the Government.

Stop right there.

Who is forcing the ladies to do that?

Well look no further than the Board of the Hurricanes who sit above the CEO who does the operational dirty work and you will find - sitting on the Board of the Hurricanes - one Nathan Guy - former National MP ( trade and agriculture ) and - yes it all makes sense...you must apologise ladies to the clowns above and sideways.

The colonial settler state farmers and owners of all that stolen land demand an apology along with the bankers, fossil fuel industry, tobacco industry and a number of Universities.

If your blood begins to boil - you are not alone and the lyrics of RAGE against the Machine play loudly in my soul - "F YOU I won't do what ya tell me" and we all start suppressing the anger - cos some of those who work forces are the same as burn crosses.

Now we hear Chris Bishop making excuses for rearranging the deckchairs to make things look better around emergency housing - without increasing supply and it's just a case of more people sleeping in cars and garages and you must remain calm - keep calm and carry on - while the next Taxpayers’ Union ( Atlas ) poll ( due in three days ) will tell us National have extended their lead and Luxon is more popular than ever.

Meanwhile TVNZ staff are nervously waiting to hear about the cuts to news this afternoon - and news is bleeding all over Television in New Zealand while Atlas is singing and Shane Jones is bathing in fossil fuel - and refusing to come clean about who he wrote to in the Fossil Fuel Industry in parliament.

Somewhere people are muttering about there being no good reason apart from political reasons to be anti-democratic and push legislation through under urgency without democratic scrutiny and Lord Hannan's advice to get it done now - up at the Gibbs Farm rings in our ears - as the Neoliberals hurry to boast about 49 actions in 100 days.

Luxon sidestepped questions ( Le poulet ) as per usual and the stench of his bull headed inability to read a room still lingers as people argue about Premier House and how it could be better used.

This was all enough to make me pretty annoyed last night - only worse - Monty was gone ...he'd jumped out a window and the bells rang around the island about a missing kitten as poor Vicki wandered the streets calling his name - and I felt like you do when you lose something you can't replace.

"Poor Monty out there, nothing to eat, lost in a big world"...and I felt sick inside - but we left the doors open as we went to sleep like parents who lost a baby - and sometime about 4am Vicki asked me in the dark - is this him - cos there was a sound of biscuits being eaten - and it was him - Hooray !!!!

If only we could get rid of this Three Headed Taniwha red necked Altas government - then things would be all okay again.

How much were the public deceived and ignorant at the election?

More than is acceptable and now we see the "real evil" curl its lips with new road registration taxes, no replacement ferry, 8,000 lost lives from smoking, massive transport budget holes, fossil fuel exploration permits off Taranaki, 7000 more kids in poverty, Boot Camps of abuse and harm, the Treaty principles Bill, the fast track consenting that kills the environment, the return of semi automatic weapons after the Christchurch Massacre and people being booted onto the street by Atlas Network guided politicians.

Anyone who stands up is attacked and told to sit down and apologise.

Rage against the machine.
