When will Nicola Resign?

This morning Minister of Finance Nicola Willis says she cannot confirm the government will be able to deliver tax cuts in July as outlined in the coalition agreement after telling us all on 15 September 2023 that she would resign if she could not deliver Tax cuts.

Grant Robertson had tried to tell the "tin eared" swing voters that National's tax cuts were unaffordable and that Willis' numbers did not add up - but they knew best - they saw her flash red lipstick and she had slimmed down - she would not lie - why would she, with that soft dulcet voice screeching like a banshee across Parliament when the cameras were not on her.

Willis had been unable to show the public the money before the election and hid behind a bogus methodology when multiple independent economists called her out and Luxon was torn to shreds by Rebecca Wright and Jack Tame - but none of this mattered to the "clever" NZ First voters who feared co-governance was just like Nazi Germany and the even more "clever" Act voters who needed semi automatics to sort out their neoliberal FreeDumb.

By 4 December 2024 National had won the election and Nicola Willis was screeching like a sawmill about snakes in the grass and how her Mini Budget would reveal how much had been hidden from her. Well Nicola danced the dance of seven fiscal cliffs making out she was truly aghast that some funding ended mid term ...when this was normal practice ...but she was ready to manipulate the ignorant with any old fake news.

Grant said at the time that all those details had been in the May 2023 Budget and Nicola Willis simply did not read it and was making up a cool story now - but old gold felt vindicated - to hell with the facts and Christmas was coming.

Strangely many had also forgotten that Nicola Willis openly admitted on 15 September 2023 that she had no idea how reducing the Bright Line Test to 2 years and bringing back interest deductibility would impact Housing Affordability - which was a very big warning - that Nicola Willis was a baked muffin not a Finance Minister by any stretch.

Turned out Willis was a plant by the Atlas Network - who was promoted into the role well beyond her competence - because her real task was to get slim - wear lippy, and use her considerable debating skills and hostile takeover screeching ability to shout down all sense and reason.

The goal was to win the election by hook or by crook, Trump playbook, exaggerate an economic catastrophe, double down when caught out, disagree and make no apology while praising yourself...incredible work etc.

Who can forget the five weeks of spreadsheet denial and $250 a week for the average family in tax cuts - until the CTU finally did the job and said - um only 3,000 households would be eligible for that.

How big was Grant's hole was the response - not as big as Winston and Seymour pretended it was - as all of these shysters tried it on with the gullible, the haters and the racists in denial - and many tin foil hats lapped it up as they do.

But now today ...Winston's mouth is flapping like a torn sack all over media about a 5.6 Billion shortfall and Willis is trembling about cabinet and uncertainty - a sure sign both Seymour and Winston are running circles around Luxon - as the weakest Prime Minister ever just lets them say anything they like - and the place descends into madness.

Distractions are hanging on the clothes line - blowing in the breeze - but the facts remain - Willis has put you all crook and now the chickens are roosting in the rafters ready to shit on National voters ...cos they voted for this change.

All those extra jobs that have to go to make up for Nicola's bad sums on most of her tax cuts ...the $800 Million on Interest Deductibility, the $500 Million on online gambling, the Foreign Buyers debacle....so many mistakes ...on so many levels.

The surplus is down the road, the blame and excuses are off the scale and Nats are crying over lower than expected economic growth before they even know the stats from three months ago.

In three days time - 21 March 2024 - Stats will release the GDP for the December 2023 quarter - so the neoliberal media ( Newscrap and the NZ Herald etc ) are working up the excuses in preparation and you'll likely hear Luxon say "three of the last four quarters have been negative growth" at the Presser this afternoon.

You'd also hear him say something like "What I am saying is I have not heard the comments Wintston made about the Nazis but he is allowed his point of view - we all have a view - it's important to have a view and I may not agree with him - he was talking about TPM not co-governance and we are working together incredibly well and incredibly hard" - or something like that if past form is anything to go by.

Yes we are well sick of that crap now but National's handlers have no other gears - and the cookie jar is empty at the Atlas Network HQ.

Now its all about finding a way to soften up the public to the delays - the delays to tax cuts ...because "we inherited a broken economy" after "economic vandalism" ( pandemic ) and look at the debt ( which is low by international standards ) using hard numbers.

The endless BS rolls on - and amidst it all the Police are pissed and Mark Mitchell wet his nappies, the Doctors are raging about the surprise smoking policies, your rates are about to go through the roof - because of the race card Atlas played on cretins over Maori when they defeated Three Waters, and yes ...who can forget the $52,000 Luxon said he was entitled to - and that interview by Tova.

Clearly ( lol ) what I am saying to you is New Zealand had a decent government but the misguided and the dullards voted in the worst circus imaginable - and called it a vote for change.

It's the same old story and it brings me no satisfaction to point it out to people's faces - but it is what has happened.

Yesterday a person told me they hated Chlöe cos she had not brought down our rates nor the price of the ferries to Waiheke - which are the highest in the world and strangling business on the Island ...

I said I don't think any politician could have achieved those outcomes because one is Local Government and the other is a private company operating outside the jurisdiction of central Government ... there was an awkward silence ...

It summed up the election for me.

How uninformed some of us really are - even about the basics - but they still vote...and this is what we get.

This morning Minister of Finance Nicola Willis says she cannot confirm the government will be able to deliver tax cuts in July as outlined in the coalition agreement after telling us all on 15 September 2023 that she would resign if she could not deliver Tax cuts.
